An ancient hair growth promoting cleanser, Shikakai (literally translates to fruit for hair) is a herbal powder made from the fruit pods of the Acacia Concinna tree growing in India. Shikakai has been used since ages for hair growth, arresting hair fall and other skin conditions. It is also a highly effective astringent as well as an excellent analgesic. The main content of Shikakai are alkaloids . The main constituents apart from alkaloids are acids like the oxalic, tartaric, citric, and ascorbic. It contains vitamin A, C, D and K and many other anti-oxidants. It
is ph balanced. Shampoos containing Shikakai do not produce a lot of lather as other shampoos that contain sulphates, but nevertheless it serves as an excellent cleanser. After applying Shikakai, one does not require any conditioner as it is itself a very good conditioner for the hair. It is the best ingredient to remove the dryness and to make hair softer, making it detangled more conveniently. It does not remove the natural oils that are already present in our hair. It can also be used to keep off lice, worms, germs and various infections that might occur in the scalp or hair. It  even prevents hair  from becoming grey. It contains nicotinic acid and various types of proteins that will nourish hair with micro nutrients. It also prevents split ends.
Silk Amino Acids (Liquid Silk) is a non-animal protein source. Amino acids themselves have been known as the “building blocks” of the body. They build cells and repair tissue, they form antibodies to combat bad bacteria and viruses. Silk Amino Acids (SAAs) also known as Sericin is a natural water-soluble glycoprotein extracted from raw silk. It is used as an additive in hair care products due to its high levels of serine which has excellent moisture preservation characteristics. As a water-based additive it is used to provide a protective barrier and silky feel to lotions, soaps, personal lubricants, hair and skincare products. Silk Amino Acids are
produced by hydrolysing (or breaking apart) silk proteins into smaller peptide chains. Silk Amino Acids have a lower molecular weight than silk protein powders and are moisturising to hair.

Sacha Inchi is a South American rainforest vine with star-shaped seed pods, meaning that these Inca peanuts are technically seeds, not nuts. This little known exotic plant is unique because it is the most unsaturated known vegetable with an unsaturated fatty acid content of 93.69%. The seeds are rich in proteins, vitamins and fiber, are easily digested and with a similar flavour to olive oil. Omega-3s are extremely beneficial for skin and hair. It helps to regulate oil production, helping to lock in needed moisture. By locking in moisture it helps in keeping the scalp and hair conditioned and relieves irritated or scaly scalps from eczema and/or psoriasis.
